Reflection:
This activity certainly had its challenges, but overall it was a success and has exposed me to new method of presenting writing. I think that students will enjoy this method of presenting their work. I like the ease of uploading images and identities. The uploading process is simple and helped the process of creating a voice thread easy. I also enjoyed the commenting feature that allowed you to take your time and comment on each picture without feeling rushed. Overall, this is an interactive process that allows you to publish a story or writing in a whole new way. I think this will be a great way for my class to publish their work in a new way. I plan on using it because I think that it will build confidence and pride in students through their writing. I was never able to do anything like this as I was coming through school. This a such a neat way to allow students to publish their work and I would love to allow students do create a voice thread and be able to see and hear their published work. This program is simple enough that lower elementary students could publish their work with assistance from the teacher.
